Update Aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
The ticket shop now features a built-in contrast checker that meets WCAG standards, enhancing accessibility for all users - including those with disabilities.
Why WCAG Matters
Inclusivity: Ensures your digital content is accessible to a broader audience.
Legal Compliance: WCAG is embedded in regulations across many countries, such as the European EN 301 549 standard and the U.S. ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).
Improved User Experience: Accessible websites tend to be more intuitive and user-friendly for everyone.
SEO Advantages: WCAG principles like semantic HTML and alternative text also boost your search engine visibility.

How Does It Work?
You can find the contrast checker on the Ticketstreet page. It gives you a quick overview of WCAG compliance:
If an element meets WCAG standards, a green check mark will appear (see the green box in the screenshot above).
If an element does not meet the standards, a red cross will be shown - meaning adjustments are needed.

Increasing security: Adding Cloudflare Turnstile
Important security update: We have added the Cloudflare Turnstile to all our ticketshops. We take security and fraud prevention very seriously, therefore have chosen to implement a great new anti fraud measure; the Turnstile offered by Cloudflare.
What is a Cloudflare Turnstile?
You can read the details on this blogpost from Cloudflare: go to the blog.

In short, the Turnstile is a CAPTCHA replacement - and has as the main goal to prevent bots and decrease fraud. The Turnstile is easier to use than a traditional CAPTCHA, its just a simple check. The Turnstile is also WCAG and GDPR compliant and more effective than traditional methods of fraud prevention. Say goodbye to grainy pictures of bikes or crosswalks

CMS Update: Collapsible sidebar
On the right hand side of the ticket shops, clients have the possibility to add additional information that customers should know. Think of a 'Important information' section or a 'Need to know' section. We now have the possibility to show these items in the sidebar collapsed or open.
This is live and accessible to use.

Why did we build this?
To make our ticket shops more flexible and to increase ease of navigation on mobile, we've added the possibility to collapse sidebar elements.
Currently, the information shown in the sidebar can create very long webpages, both on desktop and mobile. This promotes heavy use of scrolling on the page which could be an annoyance for customers. Adding the collapse feature allows information to be shown collapsed, only opened by the customer when necessary, thus shortening the page and providing a better user experience for the customer.
This feature is part of the new design for Toverland. Instead of making this custom for them, we decided to make it into a feature.
What did we build?
Per ticketstreet, its now possible to make the information within the sidebar collapsible, and to then show the text open or closed. Per sidebar item the user is able to toggle these options on or off.
How to get to these settings:
Navigate to 'Manage ticketstreets'
Click on the edit pencil for the ticketstreet you want to manage
Scroll down to 'General settings' on the page and click on 'Ticketstreet texts'
Click on 'edit' in the first sidebar element
Here you will find the toggles to turn the collapsible feature on and off

CMS Update: Sorting & Language flag
Everyone Museums & Parks: The long awaited and most anticipated update of the CMS is here.. Sorting! Additionally, we've also added the possibility to add a flag to the language selector. This is styling only, so has no impact on the function of the language selector. This is currently behind a feature flag.
Why did we build this?
A long awaited feature that clients have been asking for. It will enhance the way of work within the CMS, hopefully making working with the tables a little easier.
The language flag is part of the new design for Toverland. We decided to make this into a feature, instead of custom work for one client. Clients will be able to toggle the flag on and off.
What did we build?
We've added the option to sort the ticketstreet and ticketgroup tables. You can recognize the tables that have this by the arrows on the right hand side of a column. There is now also pagination present within the tables.

This can be found in the CMS under ticketstreet styling. Toggle the button to show or hide the flag:

The outcome will look like this (disregard the corners of the element):

Security Update: Cloudflare Turnstile for Ticketshops
To improve security and reduce fraud, weโre rolling out Cloudflare Turnstile to all client ticketshops, including Groups & Education ticketstreets.
Turnstile replaces traditional CAPTCHAs with a faster, user-friendly check that blocks bots without frustrating real users. Itโs GDPR and WCAG compliant, and fully free to use.
Following the recent Adyen DDoS attack and increased fraud attempts, weโre implementing this protection for over 200 clients. Rollout starts today. Since each setup is done individually, youโll see it appear graduallyโplease inform your visitors.
Need more security?
We also offer SMS verification as an extra fraud prevention measure (used by Van Gogh Museum). This involves additional costs but can reduce fees from failed transactions.
