– Transactions: build your own view
You can now decide which columns you see on the Transactions page of the Payments Portal, and in which order. Pick a ready-made template, or build your own view and save it for next time. Your view is personal: it is saved to your own user and is not shared with colleagues or other users in your organization. Everyone builds their own.
Available on Beta only. This feature is not yet available in the Live portal. To use it, switch from Live to Beta with the Environment switch at the top of the left-hand menu. The portal reloads and takes you to the dashboard of the Beta portal. Open Transactions there to start customizing. Switch back to Live at any time to return to the standard view.
How to create your view
On the Transactions page, click Customize at the end of the table header. From there you have two options.
Option 1: pick a template
Choose one of the ready-made templates and your table changes right away:
-
Default: the standard columns
-
E-commerce: with card holder and bank account owner
-
Point of sale: with terminal and card number
-
Reconciliation: with finalized at, store and supplier reference
-
Support lookup: with transaction ID, card, IBAN and fingerprint, to find a payment quickly
-
Costs: with total cost and the full fee breakdown
Option 2: build your own and save it
-
Click Customize, then Build your own.
-
Tick the columns you want to see and untick the ones you don't. Use the search box to find a column quickly. The table updates as you go.
-
Put the columns in the order you like by dragging a column header, or with Alt + ← / → on your keyboard.
-
Want to use this view again? Click Save as template, give it a name and click Save. Your template now appears in the template list, and you can switch to it in one click. Click the bin icon next to a template to remove it.
Your view is saved automatically, so it is still there the next time you open Transactions, also on other devices. Saving it as a template is only needed if you want to keep several views and switch between them.
What's new
-
More columns. Besides the usual details you can now add, among others, finalized at, status details, channel, supplier, shopper country, card holder name, BIN, authorization code, terminal details, IBAN, BIC and order ID.
-
See your costs per transaction. Add total cost and the fee breakdown (gateway, transaction, interchange, scheme and more) next to each payment.
-
Fit to screen. Switch on Fit to screen in the Customize panel to fit all columns on your screen, or keep their full width and scroll sideways.
-
Your export matches your screen. The export contains exactly the columns you see, in the same order.
-
Fees on the transaction details page. A new Fees card shows the fees charged for a transaction.
Good to know
-
Your view and templates are personal. Your colleagues keep their own views, and a view can't be shared with them.
-
The date column is now called Created At, because you can also show Finalized At.
-
Some detail columns are only available to users with access to orders.
-
A "-" in a cost column means that no fee of that type applies to the transaction.
-
Want to go back to the standard view? Choose the Default template under Customize. Your own templates are kept.
